The Great Neck Estates Park, in its present form, dates from 1949 when residents voted for a bond issue to construct an Olympic-sized swimming pool. In addition, the Park facilities include: a kiddie pool with adjacent play facilities; four all-weather tennis courts plus three har-tru courts; marina and dock area; baseball and soccer fields; children's playground; and basketball and handball courts. Winter tennis is available on the har-tru courts in the bubble.

The Memorial Day Picnic opens the summer season with rides and activities for the children, music and food. Other activities include women's tennis teams, tennis tournaments on Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day and water races on July 4th and Labor Day weekends, co-sponsored by the Village and the Civic Association.
