NOTICE OF AND AGENDA FOR MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES of the Village of Great Neck Estates to be held on Monday, July 10, 2006 at Village Hall, 4 Gateway Dr, Great Neck Estates, N.Y.  The meeting will begin in Public Session at 7:30 pm at which time the Board will convene in Executive Session.  The public session will resume at 8:00 pm.

Cable TV Information:

  How can a subscriber determine if they are receiving the correct cable service  for our village? 

Easily. They should tune to the following channels and see if they are receiving their local community programs. If they are not receiving these programs/bulletin board information, please notify the Village and the Cable Commission c/o of PATV:

Channel 20 – The Public Access TV Corporation (PATV) – community channel programming and bulletin board.

Channel 73 – Cablevision’s Local programming

Channel 75 – Great Neck or Manhasset Public Schools

Channel 76 – Adult Education

Channel 77 – Park District

Channel 78 – Library

Satellite Subscribers

Did you know that you can still receive the Community Channels from Cablevision without any installation charge or monthly service fees?

Just call Cablevision at 364-8400 and ask for Universal Service for the Great Neck/North Shore system. If the customer representative is not familiar with this service ask for a supervisor. If they still are uniformed, don’t get frustrated – just call/email/fax to the above numbers and PATV will assist you. This is a valuable service, since the information and programming on the Community Access channels is helpful and informative.
